Aluminum fenders for 62 triumph

Started with the front one to freshen my memory.

Lots of metal finishing to do before I can polish it.

Shortened seat pan.

Tig brazing sheet metal with silicon bronze is enjoyable. Less heat and not fusing the metals equals less warping. The slice shows how much shorter the new tail section is. I started with a frame that had been cut.

ARD Magneto cover (151017808019))

Original ARD cover. It appears it was sealed on pretty well judging from some hammer marks I'm guessing were needed to remove it. I polished it up some.

A bit of gasket cement still there. Surfaces are smooth though.

No guts. They can be found at a bearing supply house. And Joe Hunt sells a single fire magneto.

A few more things will soon be for sale as I prep them. The 1962 project is missing more than I thought .

Part 1

Remove tab, including weld and epoxy weld. Find hole, both existing and ones I just created. Then weld up while wearing respirator because of funky brown smoke. Ha
